Endometrial regenerative therapy using the technique of PRP
The endometrial rejuvenation or also termed as endometrial regeneration therapy is popularly used to reprogram dysfunctional subendometrial tissue or damaged endometrium.
This therapy is carried out using plasma rich in platelets (PRP) which stimulates the biostimulation. The PRP iis directly injected in the uterus which causes tissue regeneration to occur, thereby increasing chances of successful embryo implantation.
WHAT IS PRP
Platelet rich plasma is an autologous biological material which is obtained from the blood of the patient. After separating the other components of blood by centrifugation , platelet rich plasma is prepared. PRP, once activated ,
triggers a process that stimulates the release of various GROWTH FACTORS. These GFs are injected into the uterus using various instillation techniques. The endocrine and paracrine effects of the GFs cause efficient repair and regeneration of the subendometrial tissue without provoking an inflammatory response. The resultant healthier and regenerated endometrium is preserved for months.
